STEPHANIE'S STORY
Culver City High School | Santa Monica College
Due to family illness we couldn’t afford my tuition anymore. I had to come back home to take care of my family and work. I went to a community college because I had only completed a year’s worth of credits at Boston University, so I still needed additional credits to transfer to a UC. By going to a community college, I could work and provide for my mom, while still attending school and not fall behind.
